Projects

While my research focuses on understanding signals in biological systems,

my projects explore how similar ideas can be experienced and interacted with.

Parallax - Translating Data into Sound

An initial exploration of how astronomical data can be translated into auditory form.

Using astrophysical data such as stellar position, brightness, and spectral type, I mapped celestial patterns into sound, allowing constellations to be experienced beyond visual representation.

This project explored how abstract data can become perceptible, shifting from observation to interpretation.

Aethera - From Translation to Interaction

Aethera extends Parallax by exploring what translation alone could not capture.

Rather than simply converting data into sound, it introduces interaction—allowing users to navigate, generate, and engage with astronomical systems in real time.

This shift reframes the experience of astronomy from passive listening to active exploration.
